Description

The Moose Jaw Housing Authority seeks a Tenant Support Worker to join our team!  If you are a forward-thinking, outgoing individual who is not afraid to work hard and have, please read on!

As part of the Tenant Services Team, the Tenant Support Worker works in the office and in the properties with the various Tenant Associations and tenants to assist with various events throughout the year.  The Tenant Support Worker works collaboratively to provide services and assistance to all tenants of the Moose Jaw Housing Authority.  

Administrative work is a large part of this position.  Tasks include filing, producing newsletters and presentations, correspondence, and statistical reporting to name a few.  This position is also an integral part of the MJHA office operations, with daily support to our Administration Services Team.  

Our Tenant Support Worker will:
-Possess strong organization and time management skills; have a professional manner and possess a positive attitude;
-Familiar with office procedures and the effective use of technology;
-Knowledge/experience working with seniors, families, and/or typical tenants;
-Learn quickly, be detail-oriented, while working in a team-based environment.

A strong desire to develop existing skills and learn new ones is absolutely essential to succeed in this position.  

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) w/one year education or experience in a human services or office setting; or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
A valid drivers license and vehicle are necessary for this position; which also involves walking and climbing stairs as several of our buildings are high rises with many floors. This position may also be required to work undefined hours, including evenings and weekends.
