Description

EMS service transports clients to the nearest medical facility for each client. Transports within Pelican Narrows are made first to the local Health Centre. EMS services also covers the communities of Deschambault Lake and Sandy Bay. The EMS staff are expected to perform delegated tasks at the health centre as part of their duties.

 - Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
