Chinook School Division is looking to fill multiple Educational Assistant positions in schools in Swift Current due to retirements and resignations

Start Date: September 3, 2019

Qualifications:
    Educational Assistant certification an asset
    Ability to be open-minded and flexible
    Ability to communicate and interact well with adults, teens and young children
    Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
    Ability to do lifting as required
    Experience working with students of all ages an asset
    Committed and dedicated to engaging the students in academic and life skills pursuits
    Willingness to work one-on-one with students in both the classroom and isolated settings
    Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    Transportation of students as required
    Experience with students on behavioral plans would be an asset
    Ability to provide intensive behavior and academic supports
