Description

Are you an experienced machinist? Are you able to operate a variety of programs equipment? Are you comfortable working with tight tolerances? If so, we have an opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing team in Saskatoon! Pay will be dependent upon experience. You will be responsible for the interpretation of blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. By properly interpreting data from measuring tools and equipment, you will ensure the final product matches the exact specifications of the work order. You will perform precise measuring to ensure components are machined to the specific tolerances and surface finishes. You will also be required to set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment. The successful applicant for the position of CNC Machinist will have previous experience in a machine shop and a variety of machines. Operating of machines and handling materials in a safe manner is a must. A basic understanding of preventative maintenance on CNC machines must be present. Other responsibilities such as reporting deficiencies in final product and training new employees will be assigned as deemed necessary by your supervisor.
