Position Overview:
Responsible for providing strategic financial information to Senior Management through SaskTel's planning and capital approval processes. Accountable for leadership, guidance and expertise to ensure accurate and timely submission of capital approval templates as well as timely and accurate reporting, analysis and communication of financial results relating to capital projects. Accountable for recommending annual capital metrics targets to Senior Management, as well as timely, and accurate reporting, analysis and communication of progress towards the target. Responsible to provide financial advisory services and recommendations to departments and senior management regarding capital approval templates. Ensures client departments have a central point of contact for financial issues relating to capital approval, reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Administration/Commerce majoring in accounting or finance and a professional accounting designation, as well as relevant financial and business experience.
- Ability to build, manage and foster client relationships with departments across the organization.
- Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and interact effectively with senior management throughout the corporation.
