Description

The First Nations University of Canada invites applications for one term position to be located at the Prince Albert Campus. These positions will appeal to those who enjoy teaching from an Indigenous perspective in intimate and interactive class settings with a strong commitment to research and community service within Indigenous communities. The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate level.

Successful candidate will instruct from an Indigenous perspective, a variety of introductory and senior undergraduate courses in business and public administration.

Successful candidate will actively engate in community based research and community service within Indigenous communities.

Teach and develop new curriculum and conduct research on areas of business and public administration related to human resources, accounting, entrepreneurship and community development.

Proven experience in research, publication and grant writing is required along with an established teaching record.

Experience in Indigenous business is also considered an asset.

 - Business administration or management

 - Advise on research matters
 - Serve on faculty committees dealing with research, budgets, curriculum planning and requirements and staffing
 - Prepare, administer and grade assigned work
