The City of Moose Jaw is seeking to our fill Clerk-Steno position in the Department of Engineering Services.  Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering, the Clerk-Steno is responsible for the performance of the following duties:
-    Type correspondence, dictation, reports, forms, etc. and operate office equipment
-    Greet visitors to the office, directing inquiries to the appropriate department
-    Receive telephone and two-way radio calls to the office, directing inquiries to the appropriate department
-    Maintain departmental filing and retrieval system
-    Prepare and maintain office holiday schedule

Qualified applicants will possess:
-    1 year recognized program in office administration
-    1 year experience in a senior administrative/secretarial position
-    Accurate typing skills at 55 words per minute
-    Strong clerical and organizational skills
-    In-depth working knowledge of computer software packages and office equipment
-    Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
