Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and develop IT and reporting personnel.
Ensure the effective functioning and performance of the company servers and related software.
Address concerns/developments relating to the information system infrastructure and programs.
Direct and oversee development and implementation needs of the information system infrastructure and programs.
Investigate opportunities to enhance performance of the information system.
Train and develop, as required, users of the information system.
Safeguard access, internal and external, to the information system.
Develop and implement system security policies.
Purchase of hardware and software as required for all locations.
Ensure that accurate, relevant and timely reporting/data analysis is being delivered on a regular basis.
Manage current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
Manage business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets or outputs.
Assist in testing new or customized applications.
Maintains close liaison with supporting departments to ensure maximum support and cooperation.
Facilitate the communication of Division and Company goals to staff working under their supervision.
Provide overall supervision, coaching, training, direction and support to departmental employees.
Promote and support employee engagement and motivation, providing positive recognition, constructive feedback and/or discipline as required, in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines.
Complete Employee Performance Appraisals (3-Month & APAs), attend 1-on-1 meetings with direct reports as needed, manage employee work schedules and report all pertinent payroll information in a timely manner.
Contributes to the Company through active participation in corporate planning and management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Secondary Degree and/or Diploma in Information Technology field and/or 5+ years direct experience
