ULS is currently looking for a Project Manger to work in our Saskatoon office. Responsible for successful networking, pre-qualifying, estimating, selling, execution, controlling and closure of landscape maintenance & construction work originating from the Saskatoon office. Serving in a supporting role to project Superintendents and the VP. You will apply your experience and expertise as a client liaison to ensure expectations are managed and monitor job progress for maximum profitability within the landscape maintenance & construction divisions.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage lead sources (existing clients, networking events, online postings) to identify and pre-qualify clients for target opportunities
Support Sales in the form of peer audits of estimates; and when determined through consultation with the VP
Provide clear hand-off packages to Superintendents; the packages will clearly define preferred vendors, products, quantities, subcontractors and budgeted hours allocated for profitability
Develop and manage a master schedule, in alignment with project budgets, that is viable for ULS crews and clients
Coordinate project launch meeting with Superintendents to clarify budgets and expectations.
Communicate with Superintendents and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of the project scope and timelines
Experience
Minimum 5 years industry related experience
Detailed knowledge of ULS Services
Minimum Trade level degree/industry certification in landscaping and snow & ice management
Understanding of revenue and expenses to effectively maximize profitability
Experience and/or formal training in costing and closing sales for construction projects
All successfully candidates must provide a recent criminal record check as part of employment
