Description

Komat Drilling is currently recruiting a Cement Pumping Operator with a class 1 drivers licence and previous cementing experience.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive single pumping units to and from well sites
Assist with rigging-in and other functions at the job site as required
Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and/or concentration and adjust pumping procedure as required
Ensure units are clean and functioning
Operate pumping systems to pump chemicals, cement and/or other materials
Maintain parts and replace or check parts as required
Assemble pumping equipment
Attach pumps and hoses to wellheads
Mix chemicals and cement

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be willing to travel with crews (West Central SK & East Central AB)
Valid Class 1 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Operational training and experience in oilfield cementing or pressure pumping services
Capable of working in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain) physically fit and able to complete demanding tasks for extended periods of time
Team focused and SAFETY conscious attitude
Certificates in First Aid, H2S Alive, Oilfield Driver Awareness (ODA), and Heavy Haulers are considered an asset

LOOKING FOR:
Experience in oil and gas field operations
Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined and have the ability to troubleshoot
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable and dependable
Flexible and able to adapt to change
Understands the importance of safety
Team player and customer service focused
Demonstrated initiative and results orientated
