Duties and responsibilities:
SaskAbilities is dedicated to providing person-centred and innovative employment programs. We are looking for a dynamic Job Coach who enjoys meeting people and building networks. The Job Coach provides support to both the Employer and the Job Seeker to ensure successful employment retention.

Duties include:
- Assist clients with independent job search on Saskjobs.ca and the National Job Bank.
- Perform task analysis of specific jobs, defining each increment in the work process and identifying abilities/skills required of the placement to prepare for job coaching.
- Complete on going evaluations of job placement performance through client and employer interview and on-site observation, devising intervention when necessary to assist in improving job performance and job retention.
- Provide job coaching (on the job training) for clients at the workplace and/or work experience opportunities, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Develop and implement a fading process suited to both the client and employer needs.
- Work with the employer to facilitate co-worker relations and encourage natural supports in the work place.
- Prepare and maintain administrative paperwork and client progress.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SaskAbilities.
Qualifications:    
- Post-secondary education in rehabilitation field and/or related experience.
- Valid class 5 drivers licence and available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Use of a personal vehicle and valid drivers license
- Experience and knowledge understanding the issues pertaining to education, training and employment of persons experiencing disability.

Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.
Successful candidates are recommended to have an Auto Pak with at least 1 million dollars in liability insurance.
