The Kitchen Assistant will prepare, cook and present food in a timely and professional manner as directed by the Kitchen Manager. This is a permanent part time, weekend position.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Required to wash, dry and store dishes
Complete day to day kitchen activities as instructed
Prepare food for cooking and prepare snacks daily
Cooking as directed by the Kitchen Manager
Maintain clean and organized kitchen
Clean and maintain food coolers
Ensure dining room is clean
Complete all kitchen laundry
Strictly adhere to confidentiality protocols
Other tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
Food Handling/Safety course
Customer service, friendly to all staff and clients
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Strong time management skills
