AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking a Controller to join our Regina Head Office team.

This position is responsible for all day-to-day grain accounting and reporting for the Australian subsidiary.  

Responsibilities:
    Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and grain inventory
    Preparation and review of journal entries
    Assist in the preparation of the annual financial plan, budgets and internal financial reporting
    Prepare financial reports for distribution to the Management team and the Board
    Assist with year-end audit, liaise with external auditors
    Maintain strong internal controls environment and participate in evaluating those internal controls
    Coordinate tax information and returns
    Indirect supervision of finance staff
    Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

Skills & Abilities:
    Professional accounting designation
    Experience working in the Agricultural industry desired
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook
    Attention to planning, process, and detail
    Quick learner
    Desire for continued improvement and understanding
    Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP system considered an asset
    Willingness/ ability to travel internationally
