Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, based in Saskatoon. This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. If you are a natural leader with strong communication skills, extensive knowledge of food/beverage manufacturing, and a minimum of 10 years experience in Quality Control for consumer products, this may be the right opportunity for you!

The Role:  SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR FULL POSTING AND REQUIREMENTS
Direct & oversee the entire quality program for the complete portfolio of manufactured products, with a focus on developing & promoting a Quality First culture within the organization
Leverage expertise to build, enhance, and maintain a first-class Quality Management system
Manage manufacturing site and corporate QA/QC activities required to meet food safety requirements, federal regulations, and corporate quality standards
Develop Yearly Quality Objectives, Quality Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures
Lead and manage all audit processes, both internal and external, driving successful outcomes
Direct all activities related to non-compliance, and make decisions regarding the hold or release of non-compliant product

The Ideal Candidate:
BA/BS in a relevant technical field is required; MS or advanced degree in life sciences are desirable with any Quality Certifications a plus
Extensive knowledge of Food/Beverage Manufacturing, CFIA regulations for the Canadian market, and a solid command of product safety requirements for consumer products
10+ years of relevant experience in QA/QC or corporate quality roles for consumer products, including a strong background in compliance requirements
Leadership experience in a Food/Beverage Manufacturing environment
