Working with a team of talented and values-aligned professionals, the Director of Marketing provides strategic leadership for, and day-to-day management of, the development and execution of Hillberg & Berks brand, marketing, promotional strategies and campaigns. Working cross-functionally and collaboratively, the Director of Marketing will ensure Hillberg & Berk campaigns, marketing activities, and market research efforts are client-centric and contribute to the development of brand equity, profitable growth, and consumer engagement while achieving our strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUESTED
- Post-secondary degree (preferably with a marketing specialization).
- 6-10 years of experience delivering exceptional consumer-oriented marketing.
- At least 3 years of management experience leading andgrowing a digitally-savvy retail marketing team.
- A proven track-record building and scaling a direct-to-consumer brand, with ownership of the brand function (preferably in the jewellery or fashion industries).
- Experience leading consumer insights work, and building campaigns, communications, and content that align to actual and target consumers.
- Experience leading creative and campaign teams to develop brand-right, best-in-class marketing assets.
- Experience leading, negotiating, and optimizing third-party relationships.
