Description

The Sheraton Cavalier and The James Hotel Maintenance Department requires an individual who is well-rounded in terms of maintenance and painting/repairs.

This position is for those individuals who find themselves very good at troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Much of our equipment is commercial grade ranging from kitchen equipment to laundry equipment, and of course all the various HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Another component of this positions is to maintain the condition of our hotel including guest rooms, outlets, public space and meeting rooms. Drywall, patching, painting, wall vinyl repair, etc.

Building Operators or Boiler certificates would be an asset, as well as any pool operators course, as our Maintenance team is very active in maintaining the condition of our pumps for the Waterpark.

There may be shift work involved considering our hotel is a 24/7 operation with many restaurants, conference rooms, and an indoor waterpark, so open availability is a must.

You must be available to work a variety of shifts which also includes weekends.
Must be personable and be able to present themselves in a professional manner to our guests
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to utilize software programs which control HVAC systems, as well as smart devices which is how our maintenance requests are communicated
