COMPANY:  Grows, Harvests & Distributes Trees: details at www.treesrus.ca

POSITION:  NURSERY LABOURER - To perform well, you should have good hand-eye coordination with form/shape recognition, be athletic & have the energy to be moving all day long, then go home tired/dirty & desire to come back, do it again the next day in weather conditions from +30 to -32 degrees. Only strong healthy coordinated people should apply.

DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED: Make it known when you apply or you will not be considered!

READING & COLOUR DIFFERENTIATION:  All products shipped are tracked - you're required to read all tags & distinguish the colour codes

SUMMER: Its a physical occupation to swing a 26 inch razor-sharp knife with speed and authority to trim excess branch length to produce cone shaped trees.

SPRING & FALL:  Tie up branches, loaders dig with tree spades & fill trailers.

EARLY WINTER:  Harvesting Christmas trees with chain saw/baler and load many trailers.

FOOD: Lunch + minimum of 4 litres water to sustain you

CARE: Personal sunscreen & toiletry (you're in a maturing plantation)

APPERAL: Clothes that can take sap stains, rain gear, hoodie, gloves, neck tube, hat (ball cap & toque), 8 inch high steel or composite toe boots (no sun glasses).

WORK SCHEDULE: (36 to 44+ hours/week, schedule dictated by weather conditions - until November 29) - Monday to Friday (if rained out during the week then Saturday). This is agriculture; wages are straight time with no further benefits. Payment advance on 15th, final on the 1st only

WHERE: Located 24 km SW of PA. Company vehicle to transport staff leaves city at 7:30 AM. You are not paid for the travel time!
