Description

We are looking for an experienced maintenance custodian to work Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day in our busy metal manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:
- Cleans, sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors by hand or by machine
- Washes windows, sills, doors, handrails, table tops, walls, desks, fridge and microwaves
- Prepares coffee for employee break periods
- Removes garbage and recycling as required
- Ensures that cleaning supplies and tools are available to perform necessary tasks
- Shovels snow maintains outside sidewalks and assists in keeping outside premises in an orderly fashion
- Performs general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed and related work as required
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms

Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
- Sustain long periods of light to moderately heavy physical activity
- Able to work harmoniously with others
- Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail
- Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
- Must possess the ability to handle changing demands and make routine decisions independently
