The Muskeg Lake Cree Nation is a dynamic progressive Frist Nation located about 100 km's north of Saskatoon. Our on-reserve membership is approximately 450 community members. We are looking for an energetic self-motivated individual to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Social Program Manager is under the general direction of and reports directly to the director of operations. He/she oversees the administration of the Band Social Assistance Program. The Social Program Manager ensures that social assistance records and budgets are maintained. He/she develops and oversees working relationships with other agencies engaged in providing social development services and gives guidance to MLCN Chief and Council in matters related to the administration of social development programs. The Social Programs Manager ensures the administration of social assistance programs meet identified program (INAC Income Assistant Policy) criteria and that persons meet eligibility requirements.
