The Village of Dysart is now accepting applications for the Summer Student of 2019.
Job will entail 15 hours per week for the Village of Dysart Museum and 20 hours per week for the Village of Dysart.
Duties will include but not limited to;
Working in the Museum, Receive, catalogue and process historical documents and artifacts. Maintain, Develop Museum displays, coordinate, assist and run special events
Maintenance of green horticultural space within the Village boundaries and maintenance and care of Municipal buildings. (Must be able to operate a zero turn lawn mower and cut grass and a be able to trim weeds with a whipper snipper) Opportunity to observe the procedures to ensure safe drinking water through the Municipal Small Water Systems and Municipal Waste Water.
Skills and Abilities, Valid Drivers license, computer skills for cataloguing artifacts, working with others, problem solving, ability to operate small machinery, and oral communication and the job will entail physical labour.
This job opportunity will give the opportunity of a well-rounded experience. Job will begin in June and continue through to August. 35 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday. Student must complete 280 hours. Student should be between the ages of 16 and 30 years old.
