Description

OFFICE MANAGER

GFS Projects is a Design-Build General Contractor focused on the Western Canadian agriculture industry.  We design, build and project manage turn-key construction projects for commercial farming operations and Ag Inputs retailers across the prairie provinces.

We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team, based in Regina, SK.
Reporting to the President, the Office Manager will provide day to day accounting and administrative support in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

-    Perform the day to day bookkeeping and financial statement functions
-    Ensure transactions are properly recorded in Quickbooks
-    Process A/R, A/P, Payroll, T-4s
-    GST, PST, WCB, Source Deductions remittances
-    Process vendor purchase orders, arrange shipping (domestic & international)
-    Complete weekly and month-end reporting and reconciliations
-    Manage banking
-    Liaise with external contacts in a friendly, professional manner
-    Email, filing, mail and general office duties
-    Executive support


Qualifications:

-    2 years office management experience
-    Quickbooks proficiency
-    Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat
-    Highly detailed, punctual and well organized
-    Independent and self motivated
-    Ability to be flexible and work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
-    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-    Personable, pleasant team player who works well with others
-    Own vehicle and valid drivers license are necessary as our office is not public transit accessible.
