SaskEnergy is seeking to add three members to our Engineering team. The Engineer, Pipeline Engineering provides engineering services for the design, construction and maintenance of natural gas transmission and gathering pipelines and associated facilities to accommodate the expansion, maintenance and integrity of the transmission and gathering pipeline systems. This includes the provision of technical services for engineering activities or project requirements, ensuring sound application of engineering and industry practices, technological advancements and identification and recommendation of effective business solutions to support departmental and Corporate objectives. More specifically, this role will work to develop inspection standards, monitor field compliance to regulatory standards and oversee cost tracking and budget KPIs for capital projects.
Qualified applicants will possess:
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial or Petroleum engineering.
- Professional Engineer Designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan.
- Experience developing technical standards and documentation for engineering and construction projects.
- Experience as required to obtain Professional Engineer Designation.
- Limited Member Engineering Designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan may be considered if applicable to the position requirements.
