Canature is currently looking for an Accountant to join our team at our North American Head Office.
The Accountants main job tasks and responsibilities are as follows:
    Day to Day Journal Entrys and Accruals
    Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    Various Reports for Management
    AP Functions as Required
    Rebate and Commission Calculations
    Sale Tax Filings and Government Remittances
    Bank Functions and Electronic Payments
    Maintenance of Fixed Asset Sub ledger
    Reporting to Customers
    Customer Account Maintenance
    Assist in Preparing External Audit Packages

Qualifications and Competencies:
    Accounting degree or equivalent experience
    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
    Strong computer skills including intermediate level Excel
    Ability to meet deadlines
    Experience working ERP systems, QAD considered an asset
    Problem solving and ability to seek out solutions to issues at hand
    Self-motivated
    CPA designation is not required

Compensation will be based upon experience and qualifications.
