Job Description: Reporting to the Director - Financial Business Partnerships, the Manager of Financial Services is responsible for providing financial expertise to direct operating decisions that achieve the Saskatchewan Health Authority goals and objectives. The Manager of Financial Services is responsible for monitoring the financial operations and processes to drive resource allocation decisions. This position will be responsible for ensuring prompt, relevant, and accurate day to day information and guidance, with respect to all financial management matters. As a member of the Financial Services team, the Manager will provide timely and accurate financial reports and will direct the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of operating and capital equipment budgets. The Manager of Financial Services will be a strategic partner within their assigned portfolio(s) and Financial Services. The Manager will take the lead in responding to external requests for information as it relates to the assigned Portfolio(s) as well as inform on  business operation and prioritization of decisions.
Required Qualifications

Major in Finance
Baccalaureate Degree in Commerce or Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Accounting designation (CA, CPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to work within time constraints to meet deadlines
Strong leadership skills and effective skills for building interpersonal relationships.
Working knowledge financial management practices and generally accepted accounting principles
