Description

Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a residential youth treatment facility.  The Lodge is seeking an efficient, organized and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant on a casual/on call basis.  This position will manage the office by providing reception, clerical, administrative and bookkeeping support for management and staff within the facility.

Some of the major duties include:
    Answering the telephone and providing assistance to callers and redirecting calls as appropriate
    Greeting and directing visitors
    Updating documents
    Filing, faxing and photocopying
    Ordering of supplies
    Bookkeeping duties that includes completion of purchase orders, coding of invoices, completion of cheque requisitions and petty cash reconciliations
    Human resources duties includes assisting with maintenance of personnel files,
    Pickup and delivery of mail and payables as required from Head Office
- grade 12or 3 years direct work experience or
Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration and 1 year direct work experience

The successful candidate will have:
o    Valid drivers license
o    Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
o    Good interpersonal skills
o    Bookkeeping knowledge
o    Organizational skills
o    Ability to operate basic office equipment
o    Computer skills
o    Ability to make decisions based on good judgement
o    Able to work in a team environment and also independently
o    An addictions free lifestyle and promote their own personal wellness
Must have:
