The Internal Audit Manager is a key role within the organization who functionally reports to the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors & administratively, to the EVP/CFO.  The roles core purpose is to pursue a systematic & disciplined approach to develop, implement, evaluate & improve the effectiveness of ISC's internal audit processes in order to advance & support the strategic goals of ISC. Internal Audit provides independent & objective assurance & consultation & renders impartial & unbiased judgment, which is essential to the proper evaluation of management & controls.  

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of audit processes including logic, scientific processes, thinking & evaluation required to perform the tasks & to provide advice to senior levels of the organization. The candidate must be on the leading edge of advancements in the audit world,  at ease reporting at an executive level and be prepared to roll up his/her sleeves to carry out the detailed work required.

The likely candidate will likely possess the following:
    A university degree accompanied by a Certified Internal Auditor designation
    A minimum of 4 years of current, related auditing experience
    A Chartered Professional Accountant designation would be considered an asset
    Knowledge & understanding of financial analysis, risk management, process improvement methodologies, management practices, & governance
    Ability to be self-directed, thorough, well organized, & able to manage multiple priorities & deliver results on a timely basis, exercising sound judgment & working collaboratively.
