Duties:

To be responsible for providing legendary customer service to all customers.
To inspect all merchandise and to communicate to the Produce Manager when excessive spoilage, shrinkage and shortages in inventory are evident
Follow Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
To wash, cut and prepare fruits and vegetables
To prepare, assemble and display all produce department related inventories
To ensure all specified overnight care and department handling procedures are adhered to
When assigned, to be responsible for the receiving and storage of merchandise
To perform exterior and interior housekeeping and maintenance duties
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
To be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Co-op policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
Food Safety Certificate
Knowledge and experience with computers is necessary
Willingness to advance knowledge through training
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and also in a team setting
Physically able to do heavy lifting of up to 60lbs, climbing and kneeling
Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, and weekends.
