Duties: Working with a 27 year old woman who has limited mobility. Support her in various activities in the home and the community including but not limited to shopping, driving to community programs, client chosen activities at home.
Must be able to assist with one person transfers to and from wheelchair.
Must have valid drivers licence to drive our wheelchair accessible van on outings/ to programs.
Prefer University student with background in Kinesiology, Social Work, Education, Nursing. Will consider those with Home Care Aid Certificate.
Hours will be Noon/1:00 to 5:00/6:00 pm Mondays and Tuesdays.
10 hours a week @ $15.00 per hour.
Additional hours possible.
This position is ongoing, and requires a Minimum 3 month commitment.
