Description

We are one of the largest distributors of water/wastewater systems in Saskatchewan.  We take pride in our commitment to both our customers and our staff and continue to grow with over 35 years of successful business. We require a Financial Controller that can manage, expand and improve our current accounting processes and procedures. Maintaining solid relationships with customers, staff and management in both our North Battleford and Prince Albert locations is essential.

Responsibilities:
As Financial Controller, your primary focus will be managing all accounting activities at Anderson Pump House. Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and work closely with the office manager on all related accounting functions
- Manage payroll records, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger records
- Oversee financial control and general ledger accuracy
- Manage all company fixed asset records
- Develop and maintain proper accounting internal controls
- Administer payroll and maintain all employee financial and employment records
- Work with, and provide information to external accountants as required
- Manage and control all tax reporting and remittances
- Work with management to define, measure, analyze and improve corporate financial data
- Work with management to develop budgets and manage inventory assets

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management
- Experience in a multi-location environment would be an asset
- Experience using medium to large-scale ERP systems.  Previous experience with Sage Accpac would be an asset
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, problem solving and organizational skills
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- University degree in business accounting with a professional accounting designation or equivalent experience
