Successful candidate will perform supervisory responsibilities for managing all aspects of the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems. This individual will be responsible for pricing, planning, scheduling, assigning and inspecting the work of journeyperson electricians, apprentices and trades helpers. Must have journeyman electrician certificate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate electrical labour and material costs for commercial, new construction, residential renovations and service projects.
Supervise electrical employees and provide guidance when required.
Communicate with project managers and homebuilders to meet required schedule of projects.
Recruit and train electrical employees.
Negotiate pricing and discounts with vendors.
Monitor the progress of all electrical projects.
Ensure electrical inventory is stocked.
