Are you a Journeyman RV mechanic? Are you interested in becoming one?
Village RV, an RV dealer providing sales, parts & accessories, and service currently has this opportunity for a career minded individual.
You must possess good health, good mobility, be energetic, and motivated. You must enjoy working with your hands, and are mechanically inclined and enjoy trouble shooting and problem solving. You must be a team player and have a commitment to the position. Communication skills both written and verbal are imperative. You must have your own hand tools to bring to the position. Some specialty tools will be provided. RV experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Some mechanical experience preferred.
Duties include:
- successfully completing assigned jobs in an efficient manner
- completing and processing all paperwork for each assignment in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner
- participating in required training
- appropriately assisting other technicians when required
- providing input to the service team relating to product information, quality, warranty, and other unit performance information
- maintaining a clean and organized work environment
We offer a competitive salary, benefits program, employee appreciation functions, and a fun working environment. We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, and on Saturdays 9:00am to 5:00pm. Must be open to working Saturdays on a rotation basis, and be flexible with working occasional overtime. We close all Saturdays of long weekends, with the exception of May long, and also close to take vacation between Christmas and New years.
