Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an Automotive Service Technician

    

Responsibilities:
    Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders and the mechanical inspection form using computerized diagnostic equipment and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate vehicle problems.
    Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturers performance specifications.
    Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
    Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements according to established procedures and the mechanical inspection form.






Qualifications:
    Completion of a registered 4-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program. Interprovincial Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
    Must possess a valid drivers license permitting the independent operation of a passenger vehicle
    Expert knowledge of the automotive industry with a strong mechanical aptitude.
