PEKWWIN (COMING HOME) LODGE
Aftercare Home for male youth

AFTERCARE SUPPORT WORKERS
1 Permanent Part-time & 2 Casual Positions

    Provide daily supervision, support and guidance to the youth
    Support youth in their holistic healing journey in the areas of spiritual, emotional, mental and physical well-being.
    Provide assistance in meeting their daily, weekly, monthly goals/aspirations.
    Completion of documentation
    Arranging & transporting youth to/from school, appointments, activities
    Provide basic/enhanced life skills coaching
    Provide basic academic tutoring
    Meal preparation, light cleaning duties, ground maintenance
    Must be reliable, motivated, living a healthy addictions free lifestyle, practice personal wellness and have an interest in utilizing First Nations traditions and practices in personal healing
    Excellent interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication skills; physical activity interests
    Must be physically able to participate in all outings/physical programming

Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, valid drivers license, acceptable CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Search.  Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Certificate or Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Care Worker, Addictions or other Human Services field and 1 year of experience working with youth, addictions and/or mental health treatment.
