Description

The North East Early Childhood Intervention Program(NEECIP) requires a full time Early Childhood Consultant. Consultants have the opportunity to work with families throughout the north east both on and off First Nations Communities.
NEECIP is looking for an dynamic person who enjoys working with children and their families, are a team player and want to make a positive impact.
Early Childhood Consultants are a valuable resource in providing support to families and children from birth to six who are at risk for delay, experiencing delay or have a diagnosed delay. Consultants visit the home regularly to provide support , make referrals where needed, and share information. Information about child development, strategies for stimulating play and language, as well as community resources. Staff demonstrate activities, discuss family concerns and explore solutions during regular visits.
Requirements: Minimum of two (2) year post secondary Diploma in the field of Early Childhood, Education, Social Work, or related fields.
Consultant must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and clear Police records check before being hired.
