David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a family-run water business with deep roots in their North Battleford community, specializing in water systems, products, and services looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing.

THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN NORTH BATTLEFORD, SK.

The Role:
Lead, coach and mentor a team of sales professionals with a customer-centric focus
Ensure all cross-functional teams are kept up to date with all sales and marketing activities while empowering those team members
Communicate and promote company values, policies and procedures
Supervise and coach other sales managers to effectively perform their duties to the best of their abilities
Develop and follow KPIs and developmental plans for all members of the team
Develop and contribute to the Sales and Marketing plans in collaboration with the Senior Executive Team
Build and maintain positive customer relationships across all areas of the business
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining the market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.

The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 10 years of sales management experience leading a team
Treats every member of the team with the utmost of respect regardless of their title, holding true to the companys values and Mission Statement
Superior customer relations skills
Ability to coach and mentor a diverse team and manage each individual according to their specific needs
Resourceful and resilient, possessing a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, loyalty and a strong commitment to achievement and customer satisfaction
