Description

The City of Humboldt is inviting applications for the position of Part Time Permanent Customer Service Representative.

This position includes a 4 week rotating schedule with an average of 16 to 20 hours/week. Successful applicants are expected to work 2 weekends/rotation, as well as assigned 4pm  10pm shifts Monday through Fridays. There are six administration staff positions within the department, including two full time and four part time positions.

This is a union service position under the direction and responsibility of the Programs & Special Events Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide reception and information services including answering phones and emails
2. Responsible for receiving bookings, admissions, registrations and inquires
4. Responsible for reviewing and resolving problems/complaints effectively
5. Maintain and update the information services in department and City operations
6. Serve as a City representative by promoting City amenities, staying current with City policies, Council decisions and other pertinent legislation
7. Complete the filing for the department
8. Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.    
9. Expected to perform duties and assignments as directed by the Director of Community and Leisure Services

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
1.Completion of Grade 12
2.First Aid and CPR.
3.Proficiency in Computer Software; booking and registration programs and Microsoft Office

Preferred:    
1.Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a relative field of study.
1.Experience in Municipal Recreation Administration.
2.Computer software experience with a municipal accounting system
