Description

Siemens Transportation Group Inc. requires a Corporate Driver Trainer based in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective training for the Company.

Responsibilities
Ability to demonstrate and instruct proper driving form and to conduct road tests
Deliver training as required:
- Hours of Service, Electronic Logs, Dangerous Goods, Forklift, PDIC/EEMV, Company Orientation,
Brake Adjustments, Chain Application, Winter Driving, ect.
Demonstrate by example and share knowledge
Provide constructive feedback
Create a climate of confidence
Be a role model in attitude and personal behaviour
Coordinate training calendar as it pertains to operational needs and Risk Management directives
Participate in safety initiatives and events  NAOSH, National Trucking Week, CVSA Road Check
Review and update training modules, generate new material and training methods as required.

Qualifications
Class 1A licence and a minimum of 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Excellent Abstract
Ability to demonstrate and instruct
Superior communication and public relations skills
Good knowledge of the trucking industry
Knowledge of mechanical and airbrake systems, and equipment
Understand National Safety Code Regulations and Department of Transport Regulations
Have a thorough understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a certified PDIC/EEMV instructor
Previous experience as a dangerous goods instructor
Previous experience in an educating and training environment
