Description

Community Support Worker - Saskatoon

CBI Health Group is hiring Community Support Workers to service clients in the Saskatoon area. The CSW will provide assistance clients with development disabilities/mental illnesses who require assistance with community interaction, personal goals and homemaking. The younger adults might have behavioural concerns and the CSW will ensure their safety and their well-being in the community. Our clients can range from a wide variety of ethnic cultures and different age groups who will be cared for in a residential care setting.

We are currently seeking staff that can work a combination of shifts that includes days,evenings, weekend and overnights. Shift times are from 7:00am to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 11:00pm and 11:00pm to 7:00am. We have full-time and part-time rotations available, as well as casual hours.


What we are looking for:
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search that is valid within 3 - 6 months
Experience working with youth and adolescents.
Food Safe Certificate.
Experience working with clients who have challenging disabilities such as Autism, ADHD and behavioural issues, considered an asset.
Valid CPR level /First Aid Level C certification.
Non Crisis Intervention certificate, or equivalent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
