Description

Gee Bee Construction is an earthmoving construction company located in Kipling, Saskatchewan. A secondary office and shop is located in Regina, Saskatchewan and it has mobile satellite locations throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta. With an extensive fleet of late-model Caterpillar and Hitachi equipment, Gee Bee Constructions expertise is found in a diverse range of projects. These include large contract jobs involving trenching, grading, gravelling, earthmoving and demolition. The majority of this work consists of lagoon construction, subdivision expansion, site construction, highway repair, pipeline maintenance, water and sewer installation, and contaminated soil reclamation.

We have an opportunity in the capacity of Project Manager.  This position is based in Kipling and will include travel to field sites.  

Duties will include:
    field project management
    estimate potential jobs by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents and identify labor, equipment and material costs
    managing contracts including change management and schedules
    job costing and cost control
    contract negotiation, tracking bids
    work with Gee Bee staff to ensure quality control and improve efficiency of projects
    manage sub trades and sub contractors, including structural, mechanical and electrical
    experience with software  AutoCAD, or similar, GPS, estimating software, Microsoft programs
    experience in construction, mechanical, surveying, undergrounds and civil work
