Description

This position is located in Saskatoon to assist the CFS Program Manager with the overall management of the Well-Being Services program.
This is a senior position requiring strong analytical skills. This individual must have a broad base of experience working in many facets of child and family services thereby allowing for quick, sound decision-making under immense pressure including multiple stakeholder concerns and legal requirements and obligations.
The Casework Supervisor is to adhere to Accreditation standards and to ensure that the Well-Being Program is effective in monitoring and evaluating services with quality input from clients and families, while working collaboratively and effectively with other health care providers. In doing so, the Casework Supervisor demonstrates the ability to plan, assess, and provide a high standard of delivery of care and services.
Provides direction, consultation, and supervision to the child and family services protection personnel on all case activities;
Actively engage planning and development at the First Nations community level to improve community-based programs, supports and services;
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment; and
Must be a member in good standing or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Work within one year of employment.
