Description

This position is located in Saskatoon and reports to the Director of Well-Being Services. The CFS Program Manager oversees the day-to-day program operations and assists the Director with the overall management of the Well-Being Services program.
This is a senior position requiring strong analytical skills. This individual must have a broad base of experience working in many facets of child and family services thereby allowing for quick, sound decision-making under immense pressures including multiple stakeholder concerns and legal requirements and obligations
The CFS Program Manager is to adhere to Accreditation standards and to ensure that the Well-Being Program is effective in monitoring and evaluating services with quality input from clients and families, while working collaboratively and effectively with other health care providers. In doing so, the CFS Program Manager demonstrates the ability to plan, assess, and provide a high standard of delivery of care and services.
Strive for the prevention of family breakdown by prioritizing positive family support and interventions;
Ensure protection services meet best practise and legal requirements for service delivery and be responsible for documentation to meet court requirements;
In consultation with the Director of Well-Being Services, the CFS Program manager is charged with ensuring an environment where collaborative working relationships can flourish within the program and including all other relevant STC programs; the member First Nations; external agencies and community resources; and through the various networks in which the program operates;
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment; and
Must be a member in good standing or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Work within one year of employment.
