Description

The Riviera Motor Inn, Saskatoon is currently looking for Housekeeping Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing supervision and support to Housekeeping Department including overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the area
Perform all duties as required and needed
Assist/conduct performance appraisals and performance management as necessary
Assist with implementing strategies to achieve departmental goals and financial profitability
Assist in establishing, implementing and monitoring standards of service and operation
Administrative duties; schedules, payroll, performance journal updates as required
Control labour costs by effective shift management
Conduct room and public area checks, clean guest rooms and assist in laundry as required
Identify and resolve guest concerns/complaints to their satisfaction
Carry out on-the-job training to new associates as required
Understand and ensure compliance of all Health and Safety procedures, regulations and laws such as labels on cleaning products, correct ergonomics and ensuring protective equipment is worn when necessary
Ensure communication and compliance of Housekeepings responsibilities in the event of an emergency as outlined in Hotels Emergency Response Booklet to ensure guest and associate safety
All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skill
Minimum two years experience as a Room Attendant
Previous experience in a supervisory role an asset

High level of mental effort and attention to detail
High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
Exposure to various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
Perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be available to work flexible shifts; days, evenings, weekends
