The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan (JHSS) is a well-established non-profit organization that assists individuals who are at risk or are involved in the criminal justice process by providing prevention, intervention, support services and advocacy. The organization delivers a variety of criminal and social justice related programs through its four branches in Saskatchewan, and has been incorporated since 1958.
The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan is seeking its next Human Resources Generalist. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the HR Generalist will provide support for all human resources related activities and will administer semi-monthly payroll.
The successful candidate will have experience in a generalist type role, with experience in a wide variety of human resource activities. As the HR Generalist, you will undertake human resources tasks, including payroll, administering employee benefits and pension, labour relations, full-cycle hiring process, and much more. The HR Generalist will also act as the main point of contact for employees queries on HR-related topics.
The Human Resources Generalist will possess a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Commerce, specializing in Human Resource Management. A minimum of 2 years overall professional experience is required to be successful in this role. Experience working in a unionized environment is consider an asset.
