Signarama and The Sign Guys has an immediate opportunity for the right person to join our team. We require a full-time Production Officer to help us manage our growing business. The candidate will be Primarily responsible for production and installation of all Portable sign products and will be required to assist throughout the business as necessary. This person will interact with our customers and assist in the scheduling of the workflow. We are looking for a pleasant personality and someone who is willing to work hard when it is busy and will be a productive team member during the slower times. We are willing to train the right person.
Skills and Abilities:
-Experience with sign production
-Experience with vinyl and vinyl applications
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
-High attention to detail
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships internally and externally
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12
-1 year sign company or equivalent experience
-Valid drivers license
- Must be a Canadian resident and can legally work in Canada
Work Setting
- Private sector
-Monday to Friday, occasional evening or weekend

- Repetitive tasks

-Capable of lifting 50 pounds
-Must be able to go up and down a ladder
Business Equipment and Computer Applications
- Design and production software and hardware
- Large format printer, plotter and laminator

- Proper use and maintenance of printing equipment
- Ensure proper vinyl is used and installed on correct substrate
- Laminate as required
- Use Plotter as required
- Site installations
-Managing/ordering inventory
