ICR Commercial Real Estate provides Property and Asset Management Services & Commercial Sales and Leasing Services to a variety of commercial and residential property owners and condominium developments. We are searching for an individual who can utilize their skills to provide building management services to our clients.
WHAT'S THE POSITION:
The Live-In Caretaker will be responsible for the general operation and maintenance of ICR managed apartments in a responsive and professional manner. As the onsite representative for ICR and reporting directly to the Property Manager, the Live-in Caretaker will respond to inquiries/emergencies and conduct regular inspections to verify the exterior / interior safety and condition aspects of the building. Other duties to include:
-Purchasing stock under supervision of Property Manager;
-Cleaning outdoor and indoor common areas; Daily site inspections, removing litter, graffiti
-Boiler Inspections; Minor service maintenance;
-Landscaping (weeding, edging, watering);
-Snow removal;
-Minor repairs & repainting;
-Minor plumbing;
-Daily, weekly and monthly inspections and reports;
-Managing garbage/waste and recycling removal;
-Ensure all equipment is in working order;
-Parking enforcement;
-Report of all activity and keeping accurate, detailed records;
-Emergency On-Call;
-Above all, treat residents and employees with the utmost respect.
-Other duties to be assigned by the Property Manager as necessary.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
-1-2 years previous experience as a building manager or caretaker
-High-school diploma or equivalent GED
-Valid class 5 license required with own transportation
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Fireman's certificate an asset
-Computer proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel
