Organic restaurant looking for experienced and outgoing server to join our team.
Searching for responsible, trustworthy team builders who can work independently with an attention to detail. Must be available for approx 3-4 shifts/wk, including Sundays.
Must have experience in similar cafe setting. Must have Serve it Right certifications.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
- Working with others
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Food and beverage server certification
- Food Safe Certificate
- Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Set tables
- Replace linen
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
