WHAT'S THE POSITION:
ICR has a fulltime Building Manager position available. This live-in position will be responsible for the general operation and maintenance of ICR managed apartments in a responsive and professional manner.  As the onsite representative for ICR and reporting directly to the Property Manager, the Live-in Caretaker will provide quality customer service care by responding to tenant inquiries/emergencies and conduct regular inspections to verify the exterior / interior safety and condition aspects of the building.  Other duties to include:
Keep the building, grounds, sidewalks & parking lots clean and safe (includes landscaping, weeding, edging, watering, snow removal);
Daily site inspections. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building, (general cleaning, litter pickup, graffiti removal, maintenance, etc.);
Purchasing stock under supervision of Property Manager;
Boiler Inspections (minor service maintenance);
Minor repairs including painting and/or plumbing, etc.;
Daily, weekly and monthly activity and/or inspections and reports;
Managing garbage/waste and recycling removal;
Ensure all equipment is in working order;
Parking enforcement;
Showing & leasing units to new & potentially new tenants;
Rent Collection;
Perform move in/move out inspections;
Emergency On-Call;
Have rental suite(s) ready (as directed by Property Manager);
Above all, treat residents, contractors and employees with the utmost respect;
Other duties to be assigned by the Property Manager as necessary.
