Duties include (but not limited to):
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practice;
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices;
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases;
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs;
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling LLRIBs website;
Test the website and identify any technical problems;
Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engine;
Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments;
Fix bugs in existing website;
Test features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct tasks in all cases;
Run performance benchmark tests;
Build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data;
Stay up to date with new advancements in web development;
Recommend and implement performance improvements;
Identify problems uncovered by the testing or user feedback, and fix problems or refer the problems to appropriate personnel for correction;
Evaluate codes to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems;
Develop website maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet goals, user needs and LLRIB standards.
