The Katepwa Beach Main Beach Bar is looking for a working assistant manager. This position requires you to serve tables & bartend while you maintain passion for the food industry. This is a resort hotel located between Indian Head and Fort Qu'Appelle in the District of Katepwa.
EXPECTATIONS: Deliver excellent customer service &maintain a high standard of customer management at all times. Take full responsibility for the set-up & effective operation of the bar. Ensure opening/closing procedures are adhered to, in line with company policy, taking account of security & the health & safety of people properly. Work in all areas of the bar floor to ensure the best practice is maintained by the team & that areas of improvement are identified. Be accountable for cash management, work with the management to maximize all sales opportunities/promo's in the business. Assist with managing the team, including motivating & leading the team to work to the highest standards, at all times. Take an active role in developing people & identifying, monitory training needs, deal with any employee complaints/grievances promptly, in line with company guidelines. Communicate effectively with the team , adhere to all company policies & procedures/licensing laws.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid SIRS AND Sask. Food Safe Level 1

Previous bartending experience is an asset
