We are seeking an experienced Service Writer for our busy diesel repair shop. This individual will be responsible for all day to day operations of the service department, including:
-Communicating with techs and scheduling appointments according to work load
-Communicating with customers to get as much information as possible about the complaint
-Creating work orders that are detailed and provide relevant information to techs
-Advising customers of diagnosis and offering quotes for repair
-Keeping track of billable time, completing invoices and arranging payments
-Completing Vehicle Safety Inspection paperwork and decals
-Working with other departments to provide quality work and customer service
